Solar collector 01 installed
If a solar panel system is installed, which is controlled via the Froling boiler controller, this parameter must be activated.
A second pump is used instead of the switch valve
If one pump per solar element is used instead of the combination of collector pump and switch valve, this parameter must
be activated.
3.4 Before heating up for the first time
❒ Check the system pressure of the heating system
❒ Check that the heating system is fully ventilated
❒ Check that the safety devices are present and working correctly
❒ Check that there is sufficient ventilation in the boiler room
❒ Check the seal of the boiler.
➥ All doors and inspection openings must be tightly sealed!
❒ Calibrate the broadband probe
❒ Check that the digital inputs are working correctly
❒ Check that the drives and servo motors are working and turning in the right direction
3.5 Starting the system on initial startup
Feeding fuel into the combustion chamber
At initial startup there are no pellets in the stoker:
❒ Set the "
Manually fill pellet container (only starts when the slide valve is
open)
" parameter to ON
➥ The cyclone is filled with pellets, it switches off automatically at 100% fill level and sets the parameter
back to OFF
❒ Lift off cover of boiler and remove cover of pellet container
❒ Check fill level in container as well as pellet dumping cone
➥ If the fill level is too low, you can reset it using the “Suction run-on” parameter in the “Chamber
discharge” menu.Fuel outfeeder
➥ Remove pellets from container until the MAX sensor stops activating (LED display goes out)
❒ Once an appropriate run-on has been set, set the “

❒ If the container is still not full enough, repeat the process, otherwise continue with initial start-up
