Wipe the Colt Audiometer case with a slightly moist cloth. Use plain water or water with
mild dishwashing detergent. Wipe away any detergent with a clean cloth moistened with
water, then dry the Colt Audiometer. Avoid solvents and abrasives; they can cause permanent
damage to the Colt Audiometer.
Never allow fluid to enter:
• the electronics module
• the Android tablet
• the electrical connectors
Cleaning the earphones:
Although the danger of spreading disease through the audiometric earphones is low, it is not
non-existent. The manufacturer of the ear cushions recommends the use of any OSHA (Occu-
pation Safety and Health Agency) recommended anti-bacterial soap. Disposable acoustically
transparent covers are also available commercially. Insert earphone ear tips are single use
only and cannot be cleaned.

p/n 015-0221-00. The adjustable headband for the TDH
headphones.
Patient Earphone, Telephonics TDH 39P 100 ohm (2 ea.) p/n
015-0206-00 or TDH 50, 50 ohm (2 ea) p/n 015-0211-00: (TDH
and Dual Cal only): p/n 015-0206-00. The electronic ear-
phone that produces the sound of the TDH headphones.
Audio Cups: p/n 015-0223-00. Reduces external sound when
testing without a sound booth. Included with TDH head-
phones (TDH and Dual Cal only).
