The Colt base unit uses two LED's that display operation condition signals to the user. The
Android tablet presents additional messages in a different way.
2.9.1 Base Unit Signals
Two LED indicators can be seen at the upper left hand section of the lower panel. Indications:

power LED (red and green)
- steady green – power is applied
- flashing red – tablet communication has been lost.
- Steady state red – Significant Problem. Contact qualified repair technician.
Bluetooth LED (blue)
- steady state blue – Bluetooth communication is active.
- blinking blue – Bluetooth communication has been lost
2.9.2 Android Tablet Signals
Two forms of indicators occur with the tablet: Background color changes and written text.
Background color
- Steady light blue color – Connection has been established.
- Steady light brown color – The tablet is not connected to the base unit.
Note: Whenever communication or other problem is encountered, sound from the Colt will be
shut down.
Very detailed information on the state of the Colt audiometer can be read from the LED and
tablet visual signals. These are sometimes of interest to a repair technician. The more detailed
information is contained in the Colt maintenance manual.
