Speech Screen options:
3.2.4 Scoring the Speech Test
You can score the speech test directly in the Speech screen. Whenever a patient correctly
repeats a word, press the "CORRECT" button. When the patient gets the word wrong, press
the "WRONG" button. The speech score will automatically be calculated. Use the "CLEAR"
button to clear the results.

3.2.5 Reset button
Pressing the Reset button will return the speech screen controls to their default settings.
3.2.6 Aided button
The Aided button is used to indicate that the test was performed with a hearing aid.
3.2.7 Save button
Pressing the Save button will store the speech scores to a file on the tablet.
3.2.8 Send button
Pressing the Send button will send the speech scores to an attached computer.
3.2.9 Option
Currently, there are no other options on the Speech Screen other than “Normal”. (the Option
control does nothing else at this time)
3.2.10 Tests
Use the Tests selector to indicate the type of test being performed. This is used to notify an at-
tached computer what type of test was done when the Send button is pressed. Tests listed are:
