Appendix A: Internal Colt Data Files
Several sets of data files are stored in the Colt tablet to control the application. Further, a file
of test data named after the patient ID is generated by the user of the Colt when the "Save"
button is touched. This file is built up as the tests are run in both tone and speech test modes.
All Colt files are stored in a folder named "Colt."
A1 Colt Folder
The colt folder holds four sets of folders. They are:
ColtTestResults
ColtInstalls
Audio
ColtDocuments
A1.1 ColtTestResults
The ColtTestResults folder contains the following:
ColtToneLast.csv
ColtSpeechLast.csv
ColtTone(patient ID).csv
ColtSpeech(patient ID).csv
The Colt audiometer starts up with pure tone and speech screens settings with data results as
recorded in the "Last" files.Test data is displayed for the last tests run with the use of the TDH
phones.
After completion of a tone test series, touching the "Save" button generates the
ColtTone(patient ID).csv file. The same is true for speech tests, with data loaded into the
ColtSpeech(patient ID).csv. file. Each one of these files contains five sets of test data corre-
sponding to tests done with phones, bone, speaker, inserts, and line outputs, respectively.
The test data is stored in a comma delimited format that can be loaded to a spreadsheet for
display and use.
