- An overshoot heating could happen at first time. The heating switches off when you remove your finger
from the sensitive button.
- During operation, it is better to await a period of 3 seconds between 2 strippings.
- Adjust the length of stripping (if need be) with the celoron stop.
- Adjust the minimum spacing of the electrodes using the 2 nylon screws on both sides of the grip (this in
order not to harm the core of the cable, and avoid the electrodes to touch each other) : PC3NC, PC3/5C and
PC4NC.
- Engage the switch.
- Adjust the heating temperature according to the nature of the cable sheath.
- The stripping of the cable can be carried out, (avoid turning around the cable with the clamp closed). Proceed
in 2 stages : make a first heating and a second one after having made 1/4 of turn.
Turning off
Stop heating, put the switch on position 0 on the control box.
If non used for a significant time, disconnect the mains cord.
Indicative temperature chart
The temperature reached will depend on the type of electrodes used. The chart below is made for new type
EEDT2 electrodes. These values are indicative and it will be necessary to carry out a preliminary test.
