Ensure the trailer plug is correctly connected to the
towing vehicle. Failure to do this may result in the trailer
lights not working and the plug possibly dragging along
the ground.
Examine the trailer plug connections regularly and
prevent moisture and corrosion build up by using a
light oil based spray. Remove any build-up of dirt or
contaminants which can prevent a good electrical
connection.
Examine all lights, covers, wires and electrical connections
for damage and replace accordingly.
