Setting Documents
This section describes how to set documents into DocuScan C1500.
Important
・
Jams may occur if excessive force is applied to documents when they are scanned.
・
When loading documents that contain holes, insert them so that the area with the holes is the trail-
ing edge, otherwise a jam may occur.
1
With the side to be scanned facing down, align
the document with the document guide, and then
insert it until the leading edge touches the inte-
rior of the machine.
Note
・
The document guide can be moved to the right edge
according to the width of the document.
Once placed, the document is automatically fed
in and then stops at a certain position.
Then the machine starts scanning automatically.
Important
・
Hold the document until the scanning starts or a jam may occur.
・
The method to scan documents can be set on the Wide Format USB TWAIN Source screen.
For the setting method, refer to Wide Format USB TWAIN Source help.
The document is ejected along with the U-turn out-
put guide.
2
Remove the ejected document.
Thick and strong documents
Hold or guide the lead edge of the ejected docu-
ment with your hand to prevent the document
from dropping off the rear side of the machine.
