<Step 8>
Enter a 5-digit serial number in the serial number input dialog
box as directed by the instructions in the "Enter IEEE_ID serial
number" window (Fig 45).
[Example of serial number and value generation]
Enter a number made up of the second digit in the camera's
serial number followed by the last 4 digits of the serial number.
If the camera serial number is "No.23001234", then enter the sec-
ond digit (3) followed by the last four digits (1234), giving "31234".
Once you have entered the number, click the [OK] button or
press the [Enter] key on your computer.

[Destination Settings Screen (Fig.46)]
is displayed.

Follow instructions on the [Destination Settings Screen
(Fig.46)], and press the [A] key on the computer.
---> The
[Repair base selection (Fig.47)]
is displayed.
<Step 10>
In the "Repair base selection(IEEE)" window (Fig. 47), select
the base at which repairs were carried out.
* In the description given in this manual, The U.S.A. is se-
lected as the repair base. Select "[A] USA"*.
(ie press the [A] key on the computer).

Press the [Enter] key on your PC as directed by the
instructions in the [USA selection screen (IEEE)(Fig.48)].
