<Step 7>
Set the camera to Nikon repair request settings and then
press the [Enter] key on your computer.
* Nikon repair request settings procedure
(1) Load 2 fully charged CR123A batteries into the camera.
(2) Set the mode dial to M mode.
(3) Supply 5.00 volts to the camera from the power supply jig
cable.
(4) Set the power switch to ON.
(5) Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the SET-UP
screen.
(6) Set the PC mode for 1394 photography and press the
"MENU/OK" button.
(7) Open the slot cover.
(8) Switch the power off.
(9) Connect the USB cable to the camera.
(10)
Hold down the BACK button and switch the camera
on.
(11)
When you have completed steps (1) to (10) above,
press the [Enter] key on your computer.
--> The
[Nikon repair request settings Compiete Screen
(Fig.59)]
is displayed.
<Step 8>
Press the [Enter] key on the computer while in the
[Nikon repair request settings Compiete Screen (Fig.59)].
--> This completes the Nikon repair request settings.
Disassemble the camera and request repairs by Nikon.
[IMPORTANT NOTE]
To switch from this setting to the normal adjustment settings,
switch the user program to "S2Pro_UE.ff".
To switch user programs, select and reload the
"S2Pro_UE.ff" program and then use the user program
selection window (Fig.54), and, execute Step5 from Step3.
