Sensitivity
The camera’s sensitivity to light can be adjusted by pressing the

button and rotating the command
dial until the desired value is highlighted in the display.

Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is poor; note, however, that mottling may ap-
pear in pictures taken at high sensitivities, particularly at settings above
1600

is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in response to shoot-
ing conditions. In the case of

, the value in
parentheses is the maximum sensitivity that will be selected when the subject is poorly lit.
Settings other than
AUTO
are shown by an icon in the display.
