4-3-7.[ M ]: Mode Dial/Battery Voltage Adjustment
Note:
As the voltage for mode dial/battery voltage adjustment
is supplied from the lithium battery jig, supply 5±0.01V
from the lithium battery jig with the Start Screen (Fig.2)
selected and proceed with adjustments on the Adjust-
ment Items
Select Screen
(Fig.3).
Select M on the Adjustment Items menu. When the
M key is pressed on the PC keyboard the Mode Dial/
Battery Voltage Adjustment Screen (Fig.8) appears.
Proceed with the adjustment in accordance with the
instructions on the PC screen. The adjustment pro-
cedure and description are given below.
<Step 1>
The mode dial adjustment items are displayed. Supply
4.20±0.01V from the lithium battery adjustment jig,
and press the Enter key.
<Step 2>
When the Enter key is pressed a screen (Fig.9) is dis-
played asking whether battery adjustment is to continue.
Enter Y to continue with adjustment, or N to end after
mode dial adjustment. If N is selected the system returns
to the Start-up Screen (Fig.2). Proceed to Step 5.
<Step 3>
Battery voltage adjustment consists of the following
sequence.
Battery half
3.55V (+0.02V, -0.00V)
Battery end
3.20V (+0.02V, -0.00V)
Battery pre-end
Calculated automatically using End data
Battery high voltage
5.80V (+0.02V, -0.00V)
<Step 4>
Press the Enter key in the Battery Voltage Adjust-
ment completed Screen (Fig.10) to return to the
Start-up screen (Fig.2).
<Step 5> Important!
Supply 5±0.01V to the camera from the DC jack
with the Start Screen selected and the lithium
battery jig removed. If adjustment is to consist
only of battery voltage adjustment, is to be con-
ducted with other adjustments, or battery voltage
is to be adjusted last, always ensure that E: End
Setting has been completed before completing
adjustment (see P29 for details).
4-3-8. [ D ]: DC Jack Voltage Adjustment
<Step 1>
Select D on the Adjustment Items Select Screen.
When the D key is pressed on the PC keyboard the
DC Jack Voltage Adjustment Screen (not shown)
appears. Proceed with the adjustment in accor-
dance with the instructions on the PC screen.
<Step 2>
The DC Jack Voltage Setup items are displayed. Supply
5.80+0.02/-0.00V and press the Enter key. Next, supply
5.00+0.02/-0.00V and press the Enter key.
<Step 3>
Press the Enter key in the DC Jack Voltage Adjustment
Completed Screen (Fig.11) to return to the Adjustment
Items Select Screen (Fig.3). Proceed with any other
necessary adjustments. Always select E: End Setting to
complete adjustment (see P29 for details).
