Notebook appears to change setup parameters
when you start your notebook.
An error message is displayed on the screen
during the operation of an application.
1. BIOS Setup changes were not saved when
you made them and exited the BIOS Setup
Utility and it returned to original settings.
2. The BIOS CMOS hold-up battery has failed.
Application software often has its own set of
error message displays. Check the documen-
tation or software manufacturers support
services.
1. Make sure you select Save Changes And Exit
when exiting the BIOS Setup Utility.
2. Contact your support representative for
repairs. This is not a user servicable part but
has a normal life of 3 to 5 years.
