Note:
If transfer of this page descriptor is requested by the MODE SENSE or MODE SENSE EXTENDED
command, the IDD reports X '0A' as the page length (byte 1). However, if either X '0A' or X '06' is
specified for the page length in the MODE SELECT or MODE SELECT EXTENDED command,
the IDD treats it as though the correct page length was specified. If X '06' is specified for the page
length, the value specified in the "Number of retries during READ" field is used as is in the "Number
of retries during WRITE" field and the value specified in the "Number of retries during READ" field
is also used as is in the "Number of retries during VERIFY" field. The X '06' page length is included
in consideration of compatibility with previous models, but as much as possible, it is recommended
that the INIT use the X '0A' page length.
Error recovery parameters defined in this page descriptor are applicable for the following commands,
except in cases where it is specifically pointed out.
