Installing the hard disk drive
When delivered and depending on the chosen device con

guration, up to four hard disks
of type 3

inch may be installed in the device.
SATA type hard disks without an additional cable / controller may be installed.
Whether you can install other hard disks such as SAS or U2 also depends on the chosen
device con
fi
guration and the appropriate cables / controllers supplied with it.
Removing the hard disk drive

On devices without a casing lock but with hard disk cover lock: Open the casing (see
) and unlock the hard disk cover (see

On devices with a casing lock: Unlock the casing.

Remove the hard disk cover (see

).

Unlatch the locking mechanism (1).

Fold the locking mechanism in the direction of the arrow (2).
