Installing an accessible drive
To use the latch function of the accessible 5

/
4
inch drive, you must
fi
t the corresponding
drive cover before installing the drive in the casing. Proceed as follows:

Open the casing (see
).

Open the service door (see
"Open the service door", Page 45
►
If a blind cover is
fi
tted, remove it.
Do not throw away the blind cover. If you remove the drive again later, you must
re
fi
t the blind cover for the purposes of cooling,
fi
re protection and to prevent the
entry of foreign bodies (see "Remove accessible drive", page 61).

Remove the drive plate from the bracket.

Connect the drive plate to the drive (1).
