5. Connecting to LAN Access Point
Enables connecting in-house network in the office through LAN access point, and using network in a
conference room, out of reach of LAN cable.
Connecting with Other Equipment
The Bluetooth
TM
unit is so convenient, it is expected that future electric household appliances will
make a use of Bluetooth
TM
technology. Additional equipment for Bluetooth
TM
will be available for your
convenience in the future.
Connecting Status of Bluetooth
TM
All devices connected through Bluetooth
TM
are in connecting status of either “Master” or “Slave”.
Master Bluetooth
TM
unit is only one, among all connected Bluetooth
TM
units, and the rest of Bluetooth
TM
are all Slave.
Master Bluetooth
TM
unit is able to search other Bluetooth
TM
units while connected, and connect to
several Bluetooth
TM
units at the same time, though Slave Bluetooth
TM
units are not able to search or
connect by itself, or to be searched or connected by other units while connected. Basically, the one
which demands connection becomes Master, and its partner becomes Slave. Depending on
Bluetooth
TM
units, one may always be Master (such as LAN Access Point) and another may always
be Slave (such as Modem Station).
