Critical Point
If you are not sure how to setup an IP address, see the following.
Setup an IP address to each personal computer. Numbers in brackets are the subnet mask.
Examples;
Personal computer A
: 192.168.100.2 (255.255.255.0)
Personal computer B
: 192.168.100.3 (255.255.255.0)
Personal computer C
: 192.168.100.4 (255.255.255.0)

Personal computer X
: 192.168.100.254 (255.255.255.0)
Be aware that you do not to repeat the same IP address.
The subnet mask is standardized to “255.255.255.0”
When using DHCP server, select “Get IP Address Automatically”.

Click the “Close “ button.

When prompted to restart, click the “Yes” button.
Check the name of computer and workgroup, after restart.
10. Click the “Start” button, then “My Computer”.
11. Click “View system information”.
