Critical Point
If you are not sure how to setup an IP address, see the following.
Setup IP address to each personal computer. Numbers in brackets are the subnet mask.
Examples;
Personal computer A
: 192.168.100.2 (255.255.255.0)
Personal computer B
: 192.168.100.3 (255.255.255.0)
Personal computer C
: 192.168.100.4 (255.255.255.0)

Personal computer X
: 192.168.100.254 (255.255.255.0)
Be aware that you do not repeat the same IP address.
Subnet mask is standardized to “255.255.255.0”
When using DHCP server, select “Get IP Address Automatically”.

Click the “OK” button.

When prompted to restart, click the “Yes” button.
Check the computer name and workgroup name, after restarted.
9.
Click the “Start” button, “Settings”, then “Control Panel”.
10. Click
(System Properties).
11. Click the “Network Identification” tab.
