Critical Point
•
To delete the PC card driver, refer to the User’s Guide of the PC card.
If there is no explanation in the User’s Guide, follow the steps below.
1. Insert the PC card.
2. Click on “Start”, “Settings” and “Control Panel”.
3. Click on the (
) (System) icon and then on the “Device Manager” tab.
4. Click on the device to be deleted and click on “Delete”.
5. The dialog box appears to confirm the deletion. Click on OK.
6. The dialog box appears to confirm the restart. Click on NO.
7. Click on “Start” and “Exit Windows” to exit Windows.
8. Remove the PC card.
See Steps 4-6 of “Removing PC cards”.

Do not put anything heavy on, or apply a shock to the connector of the cord connected with the
PC card or it may damage the equipment.
Removing PC Card
Here is the explanation of how to remove a PC card.

When you remove a PC card attached with a cable, do not pull the cable connected to the PC
card or it will result in failure.

When you remove a PC card, follow the procedure below or it will result in failure.
•
Some PC cards require shutting down when you remove them. Consult with the User’s Guide of
the PC card.
