Disassembly Procedure

1. To begin the disassembly proce-

dure, make sure the unit is powered
off. Remove the battery.

4. Remove two screws securing the

cover to the hard disk drive. Detach
the drive’s data cable and lift it out
of its compartment.

3. Remove two screws securing the

memory module cover. Lift off the
cover, unlock the module, and
remove it. 

2. Slide the CD/DVD drive out from

its bay.
