Wireless LAN, Health and Authorization for use
Radio frequency electromagnetic energy is emitted from Wireless LAN devices. The energy levels of
these emissions, however, are far much less than the electromagnetic energy emissions from wireless
devices such as mobile phones. Wireless LAN devices are safe for use by consumers because they
operate within the guidelines found in radio frequency safety standards and recommendations. The
use of Wireless LAN devices may be restricted in some situations or environments, such as:
•
On board an airplane, or
•
In an explosive environment, or
•
In situations where the interference risk to other devices or services is
perceived or identi
fi
ed as harmful.

WARNING:
The Fujitsu Tablet when used in dock mode in the cradle will communicate
via RF. The device radiates radio frequency energy at a level below the United States
FCC and Canada’s ISED radio frequency exposure limits. However, the Tablet in
docked mode shall not be used in body worn positions. Human contact during normal
operation should be minimized and a body to Tablet distance of >20cms shall be
maintained. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF
exposure guidelines. Details of the authorized configurations can be found on FCC
website by entering the FCC ID number that is shown on this device.
