Unpacking the server blade

CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in
chapter "Important Information" on
page 27

Do not unpack the server blade until it is at its installation location.
Ê
Transport the server blade to the place where you want to set it up.
Ê
Unpack all individual parts.
Keep the original packaging in case you want to transport the server blade
again (applies only to EMEA market).
Ê
Check the delivery for any damage during transport.
Ê
Check whether the items delivered match the details on the delivery note.
The product name and serial number of the product can be found on the ID card
(see section
"ID card" on page 50
).
Ê
Notify your supplier immediately in case you discover that the items
delivered do not correspond to the delivery note.

Note the population rules for power supply units and fan modules to
ensure sufficient cooling of the system. You will find more detailed
information on this in the operating manual for the system unit.
Removing the dummy module
Any unused slots on the front of the system unit are fitted with appropriate
dummy modules to comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
regulations and to ensure sufficient cooling of the system components.
