Power supply unit (PSU)

CAUTION!
●
Do not disassemble the PSU. Doing so may cause electric shock.
●
Areas around the PSU may remain extremely hot after shutdown.
After shutting down the server, wait for hot components to cool down
before removing the PSU.
●
When installing a PSU, ensure that the connector of the PSU is not
damaged or bent.
●
Do not insert your hands in the PSU bay when removing the PSU.
Doing so may cause electric shock.
●
If the PSU is hard to remove, do not pull it out by force.
●
The PSU is heavy, so handle it carefully. If you drop it by mistake,
injuries may result.
●

Basic information
AC PSU
The PRIMERGY RX2540 M2 server can be equipped with up to wo PSUs.

CAUTION!
The server is automatically set to a mains voltage in the range of:
– 100 V to 240 V, valid for Platinum 450 W and Platinum 800 W
– 200 V to 240 V, valid for Titanium 800 W
– 100 V to 120 V / 200 V to 240 V, valid for Platinum 1200 W
You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range corresponds to
the local mains voltage.

Power redundancy is possible with two PSUs. The effective power of the
PSUs may not differ.
