9.2.2 Error Messages
This section explains the error messages for this server.

POST Error Messages
When an error occurs during POST (Power On Self Test: a device check performed during the server
startup process) on this server, take the corresponding corrective actions described in the table below.

Failure Fixed Disk 0
From the BIOS Setup Utility, check the [Standard IDE] setting
of "8.1.2 The Main Menu" ( pg.231) and the [ATA Controller
Config] setting of the [Advanced] menu -"8.1.6 The Peripheral
Configuration Submenu" ( pg.236). If the message still
appears, contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" of
the "Start Guide".
Failure Fixed Disk 1
Fixed Disk Controller Failure
Keyboard error
Check to see whether the keyboard is connected properly. If the
message still appears, the keyboard must be replaced.
Keyboard controller error
The keyboard is abnormal. Replace the keyboard or mouse. If
the message still appears, the baseboard must be replaced.
Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" of the
"Start Guide".
Keyboard error nn
Remove objects, if any, that are pressing against any keys on the
keyboard. ("nn" is a hexadecimal code representing the key.)
Check to see whether the keyboard is connected properly. If the
message still appears, the keyboard must be replaced.
Stuck Key nn
Keyboard locked - Unlock key switch
Check to see whether the keyboard is connected properly. If the
message still appears, the keyboard must be replaced.
Monitor type does not match CMOS - Run
Setup
An invalid monitor type is set.
Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" of the
"Start Guide".
Critical memory error occurred - system
halted
The memory is abnormal. Stop the server once, then restart it. If
the message still appears, check the error log and replace the
faulty memory.
Extended RAM Failed at offset: nnnn
System RAM Failed at offset: nnnn
Shadow RAM Failed at offset: nnnn
Memory type mixing detected
The installation configuration of the memory is wrong. Verify
that the same type of memory is installed to the slots of the same
memory pair. If the memory is properly installed, it needs to be
replaced.
Memory Redundancy Feature could not
configure the Mirror DIMMs
Memory Mirroring cannot be configured. Confirm the memory
pair that configures the mirror is on the DIMMs of the same
capacity. If the memory is installed properly, it must be
replaced.
Correctable memory error in module x
The memory is abnormal. Replace the memory module that
corresponds to "module n" (where n is the slot number).
Uncorrectable memory error in module x
Memory decreased in Size
Power off the server and turn it back on. If the message still
appears, check the error log and replace the faulty memory.
Non Fujitsu Siemens Memory Module
detected Warranty void!
The memory is abnormal.
