Connecting the server to the mains
The PRIMERGY TX140 S1 server is equipped with a standard power supply
unit that automatically adjusts to any mains voltage in the range of 100 VAC to
240 VAC.

CAUTION!
The power supply automatically adjusts to any mains voltage in the
range of 100 VAC to 240 VAC. You may only operate the server if its
rated voltage range corresponds to the local mains voltage.

Connect the power cord to the power supply unit.
Ê
Connect the mains plug to a grounded mains outlet in the in-house power
supply network or a power outlet of the rack socket strip (see also
"PRIMECENTER Rack System" assembly guide).
Securing power cords

Loop the cable past the cable tie mounting bracket as shown (1).
Ê
Close the cable tie around the power cord (2) and pull tight (3) to secure the
power cord.

If you are using a redundant power supply with two hot-plug PSU
modules, proceed with the second PSU in the same way.
