Requirements

The server has been switched off
–
The power cables have been uplugged
–
Rack model only: The server has been pulled out
–
The housing cover has been removed
–
The memory boards or dummies have been removed (see Operating
Manual)
–
The PCI boards have been removed (see Operating Manual)
–
The external SCSI interface (if present) has been removed (see Options
Guide)
–
The processors have been removed (see Options Guide)
–
The VRM modules have been removed (see Options Guide)

Remove the center brace as follows:

Slide both locking elements (A) to the unlocked position (“open lock”
symbol).
