4.14.5 Managing the System Log
Up to 1,000 system information logs (such as for startup, shutdown, and system errors)
are saved in the scanner.

Viewing the System Log Details
The system log summary is shown in date/time order. Even if the [Region/Timezone] or
[Date/Time] settings are changed, the order of the log entries will not be changed.
1. Select [Monitoring & Management]

[Status Details]

[System Log].

The [System Log] window appears.
2. Select the log you wish to view.

The details of the selected log are displayed.
Pressing the [OK] button returns to the [System Log] window.

System logs may contain private information such as e-mail addresses or fax
numbers, so care should be taken when managing such data.
z
If a log file error is detected during scanner operation, the log file will be cleared and
the log entry "Error 81001003 Corrupted system log file was deleted." is recorded.
z
The [Date] format specified on the [Date/Time] window is used. For details, refer to
"4.5.4 Setting the Date/Time" (page 98)

The information of "Error" and "Warning" in [Type] will be sent to the e-mail address
set in
"4.16.6 Setting the Destination for Alert Notifications" (page 194)
