4 Jumpers and Switches
This chapter describes the jumpers and switches which can be modified on the starter-kit.
The default settings are shown as a grey shaded area in the tables.
4.1 Power Supply (JP2, JP3, SW2, JP32)
The two onboard voltage regulators provide stabilized 5V and 3.3V.
JP2
Connects the MCU
’s VCC5 supply to 5V; can be used for MCU current
measurement.
JP32
Connects the MCU
’s VCC3V3 supply to 3.3V; can be used for MCU 3.3V domain
current measurement.
JP3
Board can be powered via a voltage regulator powered by external 9V supply.
SW2
With the
switch SW2 the external power of the board can be switched on/off.

4.2 Program / Run switch (SW1)
With switch SW1, the Run or modes Program can be selected. The following settings are
necessary as per MCU hardware manual to switch between Run and Program.

In order to implement the above mode changes, MD0 and P127 are connected to the two
switches inside SW1 as given below.
