8 Flash Programming of MCU
Please download and install the Flash Programmer from the following link:
http://mcu.emea.fujitsu.com/mcu_tool/detail/FLASH_PROGRAMMER_FR_FJ.htm
For programming the MCU the UART
’A’ or USB ’A’ can be used. Following the steps for
MCU flashing are listed:
1. The MCU can only get flashed via the MFS0 of the MCU. It is necessary to check the
jumper settings of JP28 and JP29 as follows.
Jumper
Setting
Description
JP28
(SIN)
U-4 / R-0
USB ’A’ (mini USB) connected to LIN-UART4 (SIN4)
UART ’A’ (RS232/LIN) connected to MFS0 (SIN0)
JP29
(SOT)
U-4 / R-0
USB ’A’ (mini USB) connected to LIN-UART4 (SOT4)
UART ’A’ (RS232/LIN) connected to MFS0 (SOT0)

2. Install the newest FR Flash Programmer.
3. Connect the UART0 of the board via UART
’A’ or USB ’A’ connector to the PC.
4. Start the FR Flash Programmer.
5. Select the Target, Frequency and the (HEX)-File (.mhx) as the following picture
shows.
