Sensor Error
If a sensor error occurs, the indicators on the operator panel lights up as follows.
Check Indicator
Power Indicator
Flashes
On
Take the following measures.
●
Clean the ultrasonic sensors by referring to
Cleaning the Inside of the Scanner (ADF) with a Cloth (page 70)
●
Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem still persists, write down the status of the indicators, check each item in
Scanner Service Provider (page 114)
and then contact the distributor/dealer where you purchased this product.
Refer to the contact information in the Contact List if supplied with this product, or refer to the contact
information in the Contact for Inquiries section if provided in Safety Precautions supplied with this product, and
then make an inquiry.
Optical error (ADF Front)
If an optical error occurs in the front of the ADF, the indicators on the operator panel light up as follows.
Check Indicator
Power Indicator
Flashes 2 times
On
Take the following measures.
