Workaround: After you insert the power cord, or after the ILOM reset complete, wait
for about 180 seconds and then power on the system.
Slot Number of Link Card Connected to PCI Box
Is Falsely Displayed (CR 6942238)
This issue is resolved by updating the system firmware to 7.2.10 or later.
When you mount a link card connected to PCI box and start the system, the slot
number is falsely displayed in the LEDs and FRU Status of the
prtdiag -v
command output.
Shown below is an event example in time of failure.
