Never attempt to dismantle or modify the XG2000R yourself. This is extremely dangerous
since the XG2000R includes both high voltage and high temperature components.
If maintenance is required, contact the vendor's service department.
The following warning label may be found on the top of XG2000R. Do not attempt to remove
this warning label.
• The expected life of the XG2000R is approximately five years, assuming use at an ambi-
ent temperature of 25°C.
• Use of this hardware guide, the XG2000R, its firmware, and the management software
are the responsibility of the user.
• Fujitsu and its partners accept no responsibility for any errors or data loss arising from use
of the XG2000R. Before using the XG2000R, it should be understood that the XG2000R is
not guaranteed against failure for any more than the original purchase price.
• Fujitsu and its partners do not approve of any use of the firmware provided with the
XG2000R, or of any authorized firmware upgrades, for any purpose other than installa-
tion on the XG2000R. Modification and disassemble are not permitted at all.
• When connecting up the fiber optic cables, check that there is no dust, foreign objects or
fingerprints on the connector surfaces.
