WARNING!
Wear safety glasses and ear protection. Keep your face away from the
safety valve when carrying out this check. Air will be discharged at a high pressure.
Checking the safety relief valve (16)
1.
Check that the safety relief valve is in working order before
every use. Turn compressor on until the switch off pressure
(10 bar) is reached (Fig. 9).
2.
Hold the ring on the safety relief valve and pull it outwards. Air
should discharge from the valve (Fig. 10).
3.
When the ring on the safety relief valve is released the air
discharge should stop. (Fig. 11).
