Note 1:
In some cases the frequency can not be changed because of operating band-
width. In this case the frequency setting is grayed.
Note 2:
The setting for [Freq Shift2] is valid when [Sidelobe Sup.A] is set between -3
and -1. Set [Freq Shift1] well apart from [Freq Shift2] to better suppress sidelobes.

Noise limiter
Weak, unwanted reflections, colored light-blue or green, are caused by dirty water,
plankton layers, or ship's noise. The noise limiter can reduce the effects of these un-
wanted reflections. Raising the setting causes unwanted reflections to be displayed in
colors of blue to background color.
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to show the main menu.
2. Select [Display Setting] then push the left-click button.
3. Press the
H/V/S
key to select the [S] tab.
4. Select [Noise Limiter] then push the left-click button.
5. Select
or
then push the left-click button to adjust the setting. The setting
range is 0 to 15.
6. Select [Quit] on the setting box then push the left-click button to close the box.
7. Long-press the
MENU/ESC
key to close all menus.

Reverberation
You may choose the length of reverberation for the echo signal, with [Reverberation]
in the [TX/RX Setting] menu ([S] tab). The larger the value, the lower the reverberation
effect, which makes it easier to see the echo signal. The setting range is 0-3.
