Setting up navigation lines
Navigation lines may be set up as follows:
1. Press the [NAV MENU] and [3] keys.

2. Press the [2] key to choose NAV LINE ON.
3. Press the [7] key.
4. Press the [7] key to choose NAV LINE DATA. Choose VIDEO PLOTTER for
internally generated navigation width data or NAVAID for external navaid
generated data. Press the [ENTER] key.
Note:
For NAVAID, set USED WPL on the NAV INFORMATION 3 menu to
NAV LINE. (Not available on G-type radar.). RTE and WPL sentence
required to display navigation line. Only Numeric ID data in the WPL
sentence is read.
5. Press the [4] key to set NAV WIDTH to ON and press the [ENTER] key.
6. Enter lane width (in nautical miles) and then press the [ENTER] key.
7. To enter waypoint where to head or skip current waypoint and head to next
waypoint, press the [6] key and enter waypoint number.
8. Press the [ENTER] key. For example, you are following waypoints 11, 12,
13 and 14 on a nav line. Then, to head to waypoint 12, display

9. To get the audio alarm when you near a waypoint, press the [8] key to
choose ARRIVAL ALARM.
10. Press the [8] key to choose ON and press the [ENTER] key.
11. Key in the alarm range and then press the [ENTER] key. For alarm range
less than 0.5 nm, waypoints are automatically switched when your ship is
0.5 nm from a waypoint, therefore the audio alarm does not sound.
