7. Press the [ENTER] key. The position selected is memorized as a waypoint
and that position appears on the display.
8. To enter another waypoint, repeat steps 4 through 7.
9. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
Entering waypoints by latitude and longitude position
1. Press the [NAV MENU], [4] and [2] keys to show the ENTER WPT menu.
2. Press the [3] key several times to choose L/L from ENTER WPT, and then
press the [ENTER] key.
3. Press the [2] key to choose WPT NO.
4. Enter waypoint number, in two digits.
5. Enter the latitude and longitude position as below.
a) Enter latitude in seven digits, and then press the [ENTER] key. If necessary,
press the [2] key to choose North or South.
b) Press the [ENTER] key.
c) Enter longitude in eight digits, and then press the [ENTER] key. If necessary,
press the [2] key to choose East or West.
d) Press the [ENTER] key.
6. To enter another waypoint, repeat steps 4 and 5.
7. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
Entering waypoints at own ship’s position
1. Press the [NAV MENU], [4] and [2] keys to show the ENTER WPT menu.
2. Press the [3] key to choose OWN SHIP POSN from WPT ENTER MODE,
and then press [ENTER] key.
3. Press the [2] key to choose WPT NO.
4. Enter waypoint number in two digits, and then press the [ENTER] key.
5. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
6. To register another waypoint at own ship’s position, repeat the above
procedure.
