Preheating
Preheat the empty appliance to burn off the
remaining grease.

nutes.

temperature for this function is 210 °C.

Let the appliance operate for 15 mi-
nutes.
Accessories can become hotter than usual-
ly. The appliance can emit an odour and
smoke. This is normal. Make sure that the
airflow is sufficient.

Turn the knob to a necessary heat set-
ting. The hob control indicator comes
on.

To stop the cooking, turn the knob to
the
position. If all cooking zones are
deactivated, the hob control indicator
goes out.
Use the residual heat to decrease ener-
gy consumption. Deactivate the cook-
ing zone approximately 5 - 10 minutes
before the cooking is completed.
Rapid hot plate
A red dot in the middle of the plate shows a
rapid hot plate. A rapid hot plate heats up
faster than usual plates.
The red dots are painted on the plates.
They can deteriorate during use and even
disappear completely after a period of time.
It does not have an effect on the perform-
ance of the appliance.
HOB - HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
Cookware
• The bottom of the cookware must
be as thick and flat as possible.
Energy saving
• If possible, always put the lids on the
cookware.
• Put cookware on a solid hotplate be-
fore you start it.
• Stop the solid hotplate before the
end of the cooking time to use resid-
ual heat.
• For satisfactory results, the bottom
of pans must have the same dimen-
sions (or slightly larger) as solid hot-
plates. Do not use smaller pans.
