+14dBmV and +24dBmV. If they off more than 5dBmV the higher dBmV signal can over power the
weaker dBmV signal and give you a bad signal on both cable TV/Ant. and modulated channels.
Telephone Hub Hookup:
This FutureSmart 12 port, four line (RJ45) patch-style twisted pair hub is used to collect and
distribute voice and data and can also be use as an interface between a Key System Unit and also
has surge protection.
Installation of telephone hub
:
The TP hub fit into one of the expansion slots of the SuperPro series. Terminate the incoming
lines on the Service Input Hub; follow the color code for 568A that is printed on the insert. Then
use a telephone patch cord and patch from Service Input Hub to the TP hub. Be sure to connect
both of the surge protection ground wires to a good earth ground. Use the screws from the
expansion slot to mount into panel.

Standard POT's phones
The incoming service is routed to the hub
by plugging the 6” jumper that came with
the hub into the Cat 5 port on the service
input hub into the #1 port on the hub. Use
patch cords to route telephone signals from
the TP Distribution Hub to the individual
jacks. Each jack should be terminated to
the back of patching panel. Reference
(Terminating cat5e cables pg.15) your
panels install manual for instructions on
terminating the individual cable runs. Below
is an example of how a fully installed panel
will look.
