Installation
After conducting a site survey and risk
assessment to ensure the suitability of
the location you wish to fit the product
attach the unit to the surface via the 4
fixing holes that can be found on the
bracket on the underside of the
product. Fixings are not supplied and
must be provided by the installer after
ensuring they are suitable for the
surface material the unit is going to be
fitted to.
Always check the unit is stable and
fixed in place and working correctly
before use. The unit should run smoothy and be free of vibration.
Make sure the power cable is secure and cannot get tangled up in the equipment.
If the unit is to be fitted to a ceiling it must be a minimum of 2m from the floor to the
apex of the unit.
MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the unit from its power supply before cleaning.
Cleaning and inspection.
1) This unit must be inspected regularly for damage, wear and the ingress of
dust and dirt into the unit by a professional person. If any is found stop
using the unit until the issue has been resolved.
2) The glass facets can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth, with a drop of
washing-up liquid. Dust can be removed by using a small paint brush or
similar.
3) Always wear gloves when handling the product.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
You must not dispose of this appliance with domestic household waste.
Most local authorities have specific collection system for appliances and disposal
is free of charge to the end-user.
