Pairing / Repairing
6.1
Pairing
Lock and wall module must exchange a security code between each other (Pairing) enabling them to communicate.
Note:
Lock and wall module are already paired at delivery and ready for use
once the wall module is connected and the battery inserted.
Press pushbutton S1 approx. 1 second to start the Pairing process. For the duration of up to 5 min the wall module will emit Pairing signals at
short intervals. This status is indicated by a continuous beep and radio LED L5 flashing.
Within the duration of the Pairing process, the battery must be inserted into the lock (positive pole pointing downward!). The lock will signal its
readiness to pair by briefly activating the motor 2 times and wait approx. 30 seconds to receive the Pairing signal.
Successful Pairing is indicated on the wall module by two beeps, the intensity of the radio signal is indicated by LED L3.
Now the security codes of the wall module and the lock are memorised in the other element each.
An empty battery will not affect the programming. After battery exchange, the lock can be used again immediately without new Pairing.

6.2
Repairing
If one of the two components is replaced, the new component needs to be integrated into the system. With the security code of the old
component still being memorised in the remaining one, it is necessary to delete it before a new Pairing is started. This procedure is called
'Repairing'.
6.2.1 Exchanging the lock
When exchanging the lock, the security code must be deleted from the wall module. For doing so keep the Pairing pushbutton S1 pressed for
3 seconds. Successful Repairing is signalled by two beeps, and LED 3 indicating the signal intensity goes off (
see page 7, Fig. 3
).
Now the new lock can be paired with the wall module as described in chapter 6.1.
6.2.2 Exchanging the wall module
In order to exchange the wall module, the old module's security code must be deleted from the lock first. This is done by means of Pairing
connector (B) with the lock deinstalled.
