Normal weighting
For weighting solid food like bread, fruit, vegetables, etc… just switch on the scale with
“ON/OFF” (2) and put food on the weighting surface.
Weighting with tare
For weighting foods like liquids, jam, flour, etc…you must use a container. To weight, follow
below points:

Switch on with “ON/OFF”.

Put container on the scale and press “TARE” to make the weight of the container as a tare.

Fill the container with the food to weight.
N.B.:
if you switch on the scale with a container on it, it is not necessary to do the Tare function.
Select the measurement unit
Using the UNIT key under the scale, the unit of measurement can be
changed from grams (g) to once (oz).
Exceeding load
The capacity of the scale is up to 5 Kg (11lb). If exceeding that value, the display shows

.
Do not overload the scale, since this may cause serious damage. Pay attention not exceeding the
maximum capacity (5 Kg).
Low battery indication
When the battery is down
“Lo”
appears and the scale switches off.
Replace the battery with a new one, following the steps shown in the "Insert batteries" section.
SWITCH-OFF
Automatic: if scale is left for 30 seconds, it automatically switches off.
Manual: press “ON/OFF” for manual switch off.
CLEANING
Clean the unit with a damp cloth and soft and non-abrasive cleaners only.
