Mount the plate into an 8-inch-thick concrete ceiling. Anchors must be installed into
the concrete before installing the Gabor Fixed Mounting Plate.
Warning!
Make sure the concrete is structurally solid with no cracks or other
defects, as this can result in personal injury or damage to equipment.
1.
Use the plate’s mounting holes as a guide, and drill four holes into the concrete.
2.
Insert an anchor into each hole, and then screw a threaded rod into each anchor.
3.
Screw a nut onto each
threaded rod.
4.
Insert washers onto
the threaded rods, and
fit the plate onto the
rods.
5.
Rotate the nuts up and
down the threaded
rods to adjust the plate
until it’s level.
6.
Once the plate is level,
fit a washer and nut
onto each of the four
threaded rods, and
tighten the nuts until
secure.
