Fault
Possible cause:
Remedial action
No water or ice is given out at
the dispenser.
The appliance or ice maker has only just
been switched on.
Approx. 24 hours is needed until ice production
starts.
A lot of ice has been taken.
Approx. 24 hours is needed until the ice cube
container is filled again.
Low water pressure.
The water pressure must be between 1.7 bar
and 10 bar so that the appliance works properly.
The water filter is bunged up or used.
Change the water filter.
The ice maker does not make
any ice.
The ice maker is switched off.
Switch the ice maker on at the control panel.
The appliance is not supplied with water.
Contact the installer or the water supply
company.
Water supply has kinks.
Turn off the water supply at the shut-off tap.
Smoothen out the kinks, exchange where
necessary.
Low water pressure.
The water pressure must be between 1.7 bar
and 10 bar so that the appliance works properly.
Temperature in the freezer compartment is
too high.
Temperature in the freezer compartment should
lie between –17 °C and –18 °C, adjust where
necessary.
Ice cube container is not properly inserted.
Check the position, re-insert where necessary.
Incorrect shut-off tap installed.
Incorrect taps can cause low water pressure
and damage to the appliance.
Condensation forms on the
discharge unit of the
dispenser.
The ice maker is switched off.
The condensation heating is deactivated.
To switch the condensation heating on.

Switch on the ice maker.

Press the lock button and the agitation
button simultaneously and keep pressed
for 3 seconds. The water button and ice
cube button flash once.
The ice maker is switched off, but the
condensation heating function keeps working.
To switch the condensation heating off:

Press the lock button and the agitation
button simultaneously and keep pressed
for 3 seconds. The water button and ice
cube button flash once.
Filter exchange message
appears in the display.
Water filter cartridge must be exchanged.
Exchange filter cartridge. If no new filter is
available, insert bypass cap.
After exchanging the filter the filter
exchange display is not reset.
Reset filter exchange display.
The illumination on the
dispenser unit does not work.
The bulb is defective.
Replace bulb (see “Change the light bulbs”).
The permanent light function is deactivated.
Press the light button in order to switch the
permanent light function on.
Ice forms in the inflow hose to
the ice maker.
Low water pressure.
The water pressure must be between 1.7 bar
