Adjusting stovetop

The markings on the control knob show you the output
from full to low flame. Output is steplessly adjustable.

Notes

Only ignite cooking zones once pan suppor ts and
all burner parts are correctly positioned.

Burners and flame igniters must be clean and dry.

For ignition, push in control knob all the way and
continue holding it while turning to the desired
position.

After ignition, continue holding down the control
knob about 2 to 4 seconds, since the heat sensor,
which opens the gas channel, first has to warm
up.

Should the flame not ignite within 2 to 4 seconds,
turn the control knob fur ther to the left to low and
then back to high once it has ignited. Ignition
often occurs more quickly when set to low, since
different gases behave in different ways.

Only use the specified accessories. Do not line
stainless steel stovetop (e.g. with aluminum foil).

Automatic ignition

Your gas stovetop has flame igniters for electrical
ignition.

1

Place an appropriate cooking vessel on the
desired burner.

2

Press down the appropriate control knob and turn
it left to the desired position. The burner ignites
automatically.

3

Hold the control knob down for a few seconds
after lighting.

By slowly turning the control knob, the flame size can
be steplessly adjusted between full and low flame.

Lighting by hand

In case of a power failure, you can also ignite the
burners by hand.

1

Place an appropriate cooking vessel on the
desired burner.

2

Press down the appropriate control knob and turn
it left to the desired position. Hold down the
control knob.

3

Light the burner with a gas lighter or match. Hold
the control knob down for a few seconds after
lighting.

Switching off

Turn the desired control knob right to position 0.

Thermo-electric flame monitoring

For your safety, the stove is equipped with an thermo-
electronic flame monitoring system. It prevents gas
from escaping if the burner mistakenly goes out while
in operation (e.g. through a draft of air).

If the burner mistakenly goes out while in operation,
turn the control knob to the 0 position and wait at
least 30 seconds before re-igniting the burner.
