VK 111-610
control boards
must
be reset and recalibrated whenever they’re
replaced or when steamers are moved to higher or lower elevations. Use these
instructions to reset and recalibrate the control board. Note the #
165176
calibration
(jumper) cable was changed -- alligator clips are no longer included. To use the
jumper cable, provide alligator clips to connect the cable to the steamer.
NOTES:
Replacement capacitors (part #
169105)
may look slightly differently and have a slightly different
rating than ones used on older steamers. Older control boards may have three terminals (“
N
”, “
L
” & “
Out
”).

PROCEDURE FOR RESETTING CONTROL BOARD:
NOTE
: The control board
must
be reset whenever it has been replaced and if basic calibration
has to be repeated (because of an error -- see fault codes on page 2).
1. Remove two (2) screws to open access panel at bottom rear of steamer. Replace control board
if defective.
2. Connect cable 4-pin connector to terminal
ST 5
on right side of control board. Attach alligator
clips to ends of
black
and
red
calibration cable wires. Attach both wires (
black
and
red
) to
exposed wire on wire loop of cable.
3. Turn steamer
on
to
reset control board
-- when board has reset, steamer
yellow
indicator light
will flash five (5) times. Turn steamer
off
.
