appliance is not functioning properly, unplug the
power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

Faults often have simple explanations. Please read the
notes in the table before calling customer service.

The appliance does not work
No connection to the remote fan
unit.
Check whether the plugs of the connection
cable are properly inserted.
Power failure
Check whether other kitchen appliances
are working.
Faulty fuse
Check in the fuse box to make sure that the
fuse for the appliance is in working order.
After the appliance has been
switched off, the illuminated ring
slowly flashes white three times and
an audible signal sounds.
The metal grease filter is saturated. Clean the metal grease filter.
After the appliance has been
switched off, the illuminated ring
rapidly flashes white six times and
an audible signal sounds.
The activated charcoal filter in the
remote fan unit is saturated.
Change the activated charcoal filter in the
remote fan unit.
The appliance switches itself off
while in use; the illuminated ring
flashes orange and white alternately
Safety switch off:
The controls on the appliance have
not been used for a long time
Turn the control knob to 0, then switch it
back on (if you wish to continue using the
appliance)
The appliance remains off after a
power failure
Turn the control knob to 0, then switch it
back on (if you wish to continue using the
appliance)
Appliance runs in automatic mode,
illuminated ring flashes orange
Automatic sensor is faulty
Turn the control knob to 0, then switch it
back on
If the illuminated ring continues flashing
after you have switched the appliance back
on, contact the after-sales service
