Reversing the door - step by step
Proceed as follows to change
the side on which the door is hinged:
Tip:
To reverse your dryer door:
Use T20 (Torx) type screwdriver only to remove and
reinstall all screws.
Do not use any other tools to reverse the door (hinge or
latch)
1.
Press the center of the Program Selector to switch off
the appliance. Remove the power plug from the wall
outlet. Open the door completely.
2.
Remove the hinge screws from the dryer side then
remove the door and hinge assembly from the dryer
housing.
3.
Place the door on a flat, smooth, secure surface such
as a towel or cloth lying on the floor or table.
4.
Remove screws from the hinge insert and then remove
it from the door.
5.
Remove screws from the hook insert and then remove
it from the door.
6.
Follow the directions in the images below to unlock
the door ring from door body.
7.
Lift the door body and separate it from the door ring.
Flip it over so the glass bowl is facing down and place
on a separate towel or cloth.
8.
Remove screws from the top and bottom half rings of
the door body.
9.
Remove the top and bottom half rings from the door
body.
