Upon machine first operation or after a
period of inactivity of more than 2 weeks
Note:
water dispensed during this process must be thrown away and is not
suitable for food use. If the container fills up during the cycle, stop dispensing
water and empty the container before resuming the operation.

Remove the drip tray (

) and place a container underneath the Pannarello
(

Remove the water tank (

), rinse it and fill it with cold water up to the MAX
level.

Turn the steam/hot water knob (

) counter clockwise and dispense hot water
from the Pannarello until the MIN level of the water tank is reached.

Turn the steam/hot water knob clockwise to finish dispensing.

Fill the water tank up to the MAX level again.

Put the filter holder (

) into the brew group (

) by turning it from left to right
as described in the relevant chapter.

Place a suitable container under the filter holder.

Press the coffee button (

) and dispense water until the MIN level of the water
tank is reached.

Press the coffee button again to finish dispensing and then empty the
container.

Put the drip tray back in place (

Remove the filter holder by turning it from right to left and rinse it with running
water.

Fill the water tank up to the MAX level.

The machine is now ready for use.
How to insert and remove the filter
holder
Insert the filter holder (
19
) into the brew group from below, aligning the triangle
on the filter holder handle with the icon
on the housing, turning from left to right
until the triangle on the handle is aligned with that on the housing or slightly
shifted rightwards.
Turn the filter holder in the opposite direction, from right to left, to remove it.
