To fit the stiff inserts (Z
3
and Z

BIS) for fitted and non-fitted
carpets onto the bristled frame (Z
2
), introduce the inserts into
the appropriate guides with the tabs facing inwards.
FITTING THE BRISTLED INSERTS (Z AND Z BIS)
ONTO THE BRISTLED FRAME (Z ) (Fig. 18a)
Install the bristled insert (Z
4
) with continuous bristles to the
rear guide of the frame (Z
2
) and the bristled insert (Z
4
BIS)
with alternate bristles to the front guide of the frame (Z
2
), as
shown in Figure 18a.
FITTING THE BRISTLED FRAMES (Z and Z )
ONTO THE MULTIPURPOSE BRUSH (T) (Fig. 19)
To fit the desired frames (Z
1
and Z
2
) onto the brush body (T),
simply lay the selected frame against the brush body and
press until the little lever (4) snaps into position in the slot (5)
located on the universal element (12) of the multipurpose
brush (T).
To remove the frame, release the lever (14) from the universal
element (12) of the multipurpose brush (T).
NOTE
Before attempting to clean any carpets or textiles,
discharge any condensation that may be left in the
appliance by pressing the red switch (10) located on
the handle (9) of the work hose (Q) (Fig. 13).
